Carmen Marc Valvo Fall 2007 Collection Fit For A Goddess

If you've ever had the pleasure of seeing a Carmen Marc Valvo evening gown in person, you'll understand why I consider him a fashion god. Valvo creates designs fit for any woman. His list of celebrity clients is long, but it's his passion for making the everyday woman look and feel like a goddess that I admire most.

Valvo's design philosophy is evident in his Fall '07 collection which focuses on using fabrics to their fullest potential. Take notice of his sometimes frequent but never nauseating use of pleating as a design element. Flowing gowns, accentuated with simple belts and the aforementioned pleating, are classically beautiful.

The collection is varied with the required day wear and winter pieces, but I remain dazzled by his evening gowns. Even if Valvo decided to carve his fashion niche solely as an evening wear designer, I would remain his faithful devotee.
