Could a Handbag Be Considered a "Work Of Art"?

Once in awhile I'll stumble across a designer that has something most designers don't have - talent. Bea Valdes is a talented handbag (and jewelry!) designer. She has creativity oozing out of every pore on her body. If you don't believe me, just look at this lovely evening bag.

The Chinese Blossom Wristlet is a work of art. The outside is crafted with beads and crystals of varying colors, shapes, and sizes. The satin handle and matching lining give it a delicate feel. Bringing these materials together to breathe life into this unique bag is pure genius.

A work of art's true value cannot be measured, but at $2200 this piece will surely be treasured by its' discerning owner. Available at Barneys NewYork.
