Kate Spade Connolly Lobster Hobo

Oh my, where do I begin? First of all, let me state that I prefer lobsters on my plate and not on my handbags. I also love bags with a little whimsical touch, but I'm afraid Kate Spade's Connolly Lobster Hobo is just plain ridiculous.

This white, red and navy lobster/net print canvas bag is accentuated with green leather trim and silver-tone hardware. Its' top handle with ring inset is a wonderful touch, but is ultimately overshadowed by the overwhelming crustacean motif. A zip top and lobster claw charm finish off this unfortunate hag bag.

I wouldn't carry this hobo if they gave it to me for free. For $445 via Neiman Marcus, I'd rather spend the money buying lobster dinners for my female family members and close friends who possess more discerning handbag tastes.

Wow! that's pretty bad. What is wrong with KS? Does she think she is all 'that' in the handbag world?
