Earth Day 2007: Eco-Friendly Handbags

Sunday, April 22 is Earth Day. As handbag lovers, what can we do to support eco-friendly fashion businesses? It's simple. Find an enterprising company that features fun, innovative designs crafted from recycled or eco-friendly materials and spend, spend, spend your money!

One such company is This Montreal-based online retailer offers unique eco-fashionable handbags for consumers that are concerned about helping the environment. Their products are made from eco-friendly or recycled materials, so you know you're buying a chic handbag and helping the environment at the same time. In addition, is a member of 1% For The Planet, a group of small businesses that donate 1% of all sales to non-profit, non-governmental environmental organizations. Now this is a business with a mission!

Let's get to the handbags, shall we? Here a few of my personal pics. They're pretty, original, and well constructed. Be sure to check out the website for a myriad of eco-fashionable handbags to choose from.

Golden Grass favourites. A real work of art! She shape is so nice. Talking about eco-friendly handbags, I would like to mention a new designer from Sardinia, uses eco-friendly hand-woven fabrics produced in local villages. Check his website at, check other comments on this designer handbags
