Lockheart Hanging Around Drew Frame Bag

I just love when I get excited about a handbag. Not that handbags in general disappoint me. On the contrary, they constantly amaze me with their many ingenious transformations. I'm referring to the feeling one gets (assuming one has a strong obsession like I do) when they spot a bag that departs from the norm and does so with style and creativity. The Lockheart Hanging Around Drew Frame Bag is the source of my current state of giddy anticipation.

The 'Hanging Around Drew' (what a name and what does it mean?) is crafted from protected leather with gold-tone hardware and features a vintage frame top with kiss-lock closure, double top handles, detachable front pocket with turn-lock closure that doubles as a small bag, detachable shoulder strap for the small attached bag, and lined interior with zip and pouch pockets for all your small essentials and electronics. The bag measures 12.5 x 9 x 6 and has an 8.5 shoulder strap drop that allows this handbag to fit over the shoulder. Even though this particular design has been done before by Gustto, the results were positively disastrous.

The Lockheart Hanging Around Drew Frame Bag is a winner from its' vintage-inspired look to its' innovative design. If you add its' fair price tag of $650 via The Purse Store, then you have a handbag champion. Now you can understand why I'm so excited!
