Roberta di Camerino Bagonghi Handbag

Roberta di Camerino created some of the most exquisite handbag designs ever produced. Her famous clientèle, including the late American actress turned European royal Grace Kelly, admired di Camerino's passion for instilling art in fashion. Thus, the Bagonghi Handbag was born.

The iconic 'Bagonghi' is crafted from velvet (only ten meters of this special material is produced a month) with leather trim, it features a slew of vintage details - brushed gold-tone hardware, top leather "luggage" handles, frame top, clasp closure, two-tone velvet exterior with center "Meridiana" design created to simulate a belt/buckle effect, and leather lined interior with zip and patch pockets. Measurements are a classic 11 x 6 x 4.

If I could buy only one more bag the rest of my life, it would be, without a doubt, a Roberta di Camerino Bagonghi Handbag. This is the sort of bag you treasure and pass down to other women in the family as a fashion heirloom. I prefer to think of this timeless bag as her designer would've described it - a work of art. Available in various color combinations, including dark blue/red (Pictured) for $1160 via Forzieri.
