Loro Piana Icaro Hobo

Quality and timeless style best describe anything ever produced by Italian fashion company Loro Piana. If South Florida weather would permit my indulgence in their sumptuous cashmere sweaters and wool jackets, I would probably be bankrupt by now. How I envy the North for their seasonal weather! This fashion giant, established over 80 years ago, is not only in the business of apparel, but handbags as well.

The Icaro Hobo is the sort of handbag that will outlast a slew of boyfriends, dead-end jobs, trendy clothes, and I don't just mean style-wise. Loro Piana handbags are meticulously crafted ensuring the highest quality in construction possible. This piece, measuring 16 x 13 x 7, is made from black leather and boasts subtle detailing such as contrast topstitching, well-placed goldtone hardware, top handle with ring insets, extended tab closure that tucks under a leather band, and the Loro Piana signature dangling logo charms.

At $2180 via Neiman Marcus, the Icaro Hobo has a high price tag, but you will find it is money well spent for a sophisticated, well- made design.

Beautiful handbag, and yes, to die for.
