MARC by Marc Jacobs Pretty Nylon Backpack

If you happen to have a teenage daughter, or little sister, or fun cousin, or straight-A student next-door neighbor (you get the point), this just might be the cutest backpack they could ever sport in high school. I would never be caught dead with this bag at age 35, but age 15 - oh, yeah! My Jansport-toting self would have sold out her best friend's deepest, darkest secret for the MARC by Marc Jacobs Pretty Nylon Backpack. Available in pitch violet and cranberry lush (shown), this adorable nylon backpack is subtlety embellished with logo-embroidered topstitching throughout and earns its' "pretty" moniker with a snap-closing front flap and shoulder straps with bow detail. The lined interior features a zip pocket and two pouch pockets for smaller items that tend to get buried at the bottom of a bag. Measuring 18 x 15 x 6, the Pretty Nylon Backpack could house a multitude of school supplies with ease and style. For $158 via Shopbop, it would be a shame not to find a chic young lady to gift it to before school starts again.

SO CUTE!!! I love this bag it's convertible a tote or backpack (so says Teen Vogue). Practical too, cheep for a Marc Jacobs and the perfect size for books. Although the Marc Jacobs website says the dimensions are 16x7x13". I have some debate however as to whether the violet actually is violet. Online it looks grey-brown, but in Teen Vogue it is unmistakeably purple.

I mean who in the world would wear that to school and all you people who thought it was cute have no fasion sence. And if you think I don't well leme tell you I'm a model so get over it.

There is no need to attack another person's taste in fashion or handbags. If you don't like a particular bag, you are absolutely entitled to your opinion, but putting others down only serves to lesson the strength of your own argument. Perhaps it would have been a more prudent idea to list the reasons why this design does not appeal to you instead of pointing out that you're a model.

A piece of advice - being a model does not guarantee you have or will have any fashion sense. There are many fashion editors working today at the most prestigious magazines in the world who have years of experience and that still doesn't make them anymore qualified than the chicest woman walking down the street.

Fashion sense, my dear, is an extremely relative term. What is fashionable in America could be deemed quite out of fashion in Europe or else where in the world.

It's best to get once point across in a more respectful manner. That might be something to work on when you're modeling with industry professionals who will certainly not appreciate attitudes.
