Salvatore Ferragamo Mediterraneo Flap Satchel

White and silver are a winning combination. Put them together on a handbag and you get a little piece of heaven. The demure Mediterraneo Flap Satchel by Salvatore Ferragamo is a classic, sophisticated bag that can tone down a modern outfit or spruce up a casual look.

White pebbled leather paired with Ferragamo's signature Gancini hardware in silver-tone on this classic shape would be enough to convey a lady-like vibe, but the 'Mediterraneo' adds a flat leather top handle with ring insets, front top flap and bottom pockets with Gancini closure, top side straps, and lined interior for a truly vintage look.

If white (shown) is to daring a choice for you (I understand white can be an intimidating handbag color option), try the Mediterraneo Flap Satchel in black (although not as striking a choice). Available for $1290 via Neiman Marcus.

White is great for the summer (and spring)! Black definitely screams Ferragamo. However, brown (or tan probably) would be a welcome change, especially with the style of this bag, it would be great for the workplace.

I was thinking the exact same thing about a brown (light or dark) option. Personally, brown is my black!

Yes, I agree brown would look lovely.
