Chanel Fall 2007 Couture Collection: Focused On The Sides

Karl Lagerfeld, Chanel's creative director, is arguably the most inventive designer around. The eccentric fashion icon seems to pull a rabbit out of his hat every season with imaginative after imaginative collection. His Fall '07 Couture collection for Chanel is all about details and how these details are perceived from a particular point of view.

Lagerfeld's focus on the sides - from garments to accessories - is pure genius. Boots with jeweled sides, classic suits with contrasting side-trim detail, cocktail dresses with an emphasis on structured lines or pleated sides, and evening gowns adorned with side bows, fringe, or ruffles all delivered Mr. Lagerfeld's vision with impactive clarity.

Chanel, under Karl Lagerfeld's direction, continues to create elegant clothing for today's modern woman. These exclusive designs are sure to delight royalty, socialites and celebrities everywhere.
