Prada Ombre Patent Leather Tote: Trash or Treasure?

This post will be short and not so sweet. The Prada Ombre Patent Leather Tote is a big disappointment for me. Instead of sporting a gradual black-to-grey-transition exterior as its sister does, this particular version smacks an ill-conceived red level dead center for maximum effect. Unfortunately, this effect only detracts from an otherwise interesting patent leather tote. Black leather trim, silver-tone hardware, adjustable buckle-detailed top handles, detachable shoulder strap, magnetic snap closure, and a multitude of practical amenities including interior zip, pouch, patch pockets and key rings make this 18 x 12 x 5 Prada tote tempting, but not enough to overcome its' flaws.

Ladies, does the Prada Ombre Patent Leather Tote tempt or torture you? I'd like to know if this tote, available for a rather steep $2270 via Neiman Marcus, is trash or treasure?

Should've stuck with the two-tone and not three-tone.

I agree, trash. The fading of the colors are hardly gradual. Not a good look for Prada.
