Zagliani Crocodile Tote

Ever since Jennifer Lopez was photographed carrying the Zagliani Metallic Python Handbag, bagistas everywhere have been clamoring for more of dermatologist turned designer Mauro Orietti-Carella’s exotic creations. Well, the wait is over - at least for über-rich fashionistas. Plain folk like me will continue longing for his silicone-infused designs because Zagliani's latest handbag is priced beyond our reach. The Crocodile Tote, currently available in black (a white version is already sold out), delivers everything a discerning handbag collector looks for in a luxury handbag - matte finish crocodile exterior, dual zipped top, top handles, suede-lined interior and multi-functional pockets for smaller essentials and electronic devices such as cameras and cell phones. The tote's extra large 19.5 x 18 x 6 size makes this bag suitable for travel, but I'm not sure I'd be able to lug a handbag like this through an airport, on an airplane, and everywhere in between. Why the hesitation on my part? I'm certainly not the only woman that has issues using a bag priced at $11,300 for anything other than sparingly-carried arm candy. If you're like me, let's wallow together in our disappointment and hope a more suitable and lower priced option becomes available soon. If, however, you have tons of disposable income and don't mind using such a bag as a daily tote, order the Zagliani Crocodile Tote via Saks Fifth Avenue.
