On my "never-in-a-million-years-can-I-afford-this-handbag" wish list is the jaw-dropping, drool-inducing Chanel "Diamond Forever" Classic Bag. This timeless beauty features 334 diamonds totaling a respectable 3.56 carats, white crocodile skin exterior and white gold hardware throughout. With its' astronomical price tag a sticking point for most of the world's handbag collectors, this Chanel creation will remain as exclusive as they come. Only 13 bags will be made with 5 actually making their way stateside.
Whether or not the Chanel "Diamonds Forever" Classic Bag is worth its' obscene price tag is debatable. Regardless of its' financial merits, a classic Chanel bag is an investment no true handbag collector will deny. For now, most of us will add this exquisite design to our "wish lists" with little hope of having our dream fulfilled. Break out the hankies, ladies, and join me in a good cry :-(
