An explanation is in order...

So where have I been? Underneath a rock? On another planet? Lost in the handbag department at Neiman Marcus? Nothing so far-fetched or sensational, ladies. During the past 4 months I finished up a very difficult pregnancy which culminated with the birth of my 2nd son, Benjamin.

I decided to take a sabbatical to give him and his brother the attention they deserved. I wanted to apologize for not posting about my whereabouts sooner. I'm very disappointed in myself for not giving my readers ample notice, but I know you will all understand my need to "nest" for a bit before I dove back into the thick of it.

I'll be getting back to posting over the next few weeks (slowly at first, then back to my normal routine). Please check back regularly as I'll be bringing you up to speed on what's hot in the world of designer handbags. (Did I mention the nurses who took excellent care of me while I was in the maternity ward fell in love with my Balenciaga GH Hobo? I got as many compliments about my bag as I did about my newborn!!!)
