It's been awhile since I reviewed a
Lanvin bag, but this designer label, under the watchful and discerning eye of artistic director
Alber Elbaz, never disappoints. The
Partage Sac caught my attention immediately and for good reason. At first glance this bag looks like two handbags in one, but it's only a clever illusion. The first "handbag" is actually a rather large front pocket which features a toggle closure. The second "tote bag" is the larger 14 x 13 x 4 zipped top main sac which sports a fully-lined interior, leather zip pocket and handy key fob. The leather/chain top handles can be easily adjusted to a single shoulder strap as on most Lanvin bags. And, no, these two compartments are not detachable. It's only
portioned to look like two bags, hence the name
Partage.
I love the
'Partage's' design. It's stylish, creative and very practical. The
$2200 price tag is a bit steep for a leather bag, but it's Lanvin. Enough said.
