The genius mind behind Rain Couture should receive a Nobel prize. Seriously, if Al Gore can get one, why shouldn't the person who invented a handbag rain coat receive one as well. For those of us that treat our designer bags with tender love-n-care, getting caught in a sudden rain storm could spell disaster for our high-end beauties. Just this morning as I ran a few errands prior to T.S. Fay's eventual landfall, I was caught in a massive rainstorm while walking to my car. I didn't care I was getting soaked to the bone. All I could think about was how my poor Balenciaga City bag was being pelted by those evil rain drops. How I wish I'd had one of Rain Couture's nifty bags to shelter my designer baby from the storm. As their website says, "When Mother Nature cries there is no need for you to be brought to tears too!". Indeed.
Rain Couture handbag rain coats work the same as any other sort of rain gear. When rain rears its' ugly head, just whip out your Rain Couture rain coat stored in its' own pouch and place your handbag inside. That's it. Wish I would have thought of this concept myself. In fact, I did think about it. I just never did anything to bring it to life. Dumb me, right?So as I sit here waiting for a possible hurricane to wreak havoc on my humble abode, I'll take a few moments to browse Rain Couture's colorful collection of handbag rain coat gear and decide which one suits my needs best.
