Zac Posen Belyn Hobo vs. Fendi Doctor B Bag

I pretty much love all contact sports - the rougher, the better. I find boxing particularly exhilarating. There's something about two people duking it out to prove who's stronger, faster, and, ultimately, superior that exemplifies what life in general boils down to. In the designer handbag world, things are the same. Many times we find ourselves struggling to decide which one among several handbags will become our next purchase. Take the Zac Posen Belyn Hobo and the Fendi Doctor B Bag, for instance. These two heavyweights are battling it out in my mind in hopes of becoming part of my handbag collection.

Both designs share traits I adore in a bag - supple leather exteriors, minimal well-placed hardware, pleated detailing, slouchy shape and roomy interior. So how do I decide which one is the winner between two such viable contenders? The only way to do this is by focusing on their differences and choosing the one which stands out more. The main differences are embellishments and closures. While I love the 'Belyn's' wrap-around belted detailing, the 'Doctor B's' frame top closure cinches the deal for me. What can I say, I'm I sucker for a frame top bag. So, while this fight wasn't a knockout win, the Fendi Doctor B Bag edges out the Zac Posen Belyn Hobo in the end. Now to inform my husband I'll be needing some cash for a special purchase very soon ;-)
