Exclusive Louis Vuitton Cake Trunk Marks Selfridges' 100th Anniversary

Hardcore Louis Vuitton fans will be tickled pink with the exclusive Cake Trunk created by the iconic fashion house to mark Selfridges 100th anniversary. The hand-crafted trunk which mimics LV's classic travel trunks sports an entirely yellow interior, Selfridges' signature color, and can safely transport a cake, 4 dessert forks, 4 dessert spoons and a cake server. Measurements are 11.8 x 11.8 x 10.4.

Louis Vuitton has created a replica cake trunk being donated by Selfridges, one of London's oldest department stores, to auction off in support of CLIC Sargent, UK's leading cancer charity for children. Bids for the trunk are open to UK residents only and can be made on CLIC Sargent until Friday, May 15th with a reserve of £2,500. Those of you in London can see the Louis Vuitton Cake Trunk at Personal Shopping in Oxford Street. The rest of us can bid on the trunk (UK only) to benefit a worthy cause or just admire the sheer whimsy of this creation. Read more about the Louis Vuitton/Selfridges Cake Trunk here.
