Derek Lam Davina Hobo

Over the past year, Derek Lam has worked himself into a design groove both as Tod's creative director and as the head of his namesake label. The Davina Hobo, done in a greyish taupe suede, is a sophisticated yet wearable design. The details are modern and uncluttered. There's an asymmetrical front pocket that immediately draws the eye to it. Of course, this practical storage space is my favorite design detail on the 'Davina', but the bag has much more to offer. A tassel-pull side pocket offers even more convenience while the adjustable shoulder strap adds an element of comfort every woman can appreciate. The interior is spacious enough to use this as a work bag, and the understated antique gold hardware suits the overall design and color perfectly. Derek Lam is working his mojo with every new bag that comes out for the fall, and his focused efforts are what fashion forward women everywhere have been longing for. Plus, not a logo in sight. Heaven!

I saw this hobo in person and was shocked by its size...It's HUGE! I LOVE it...maybe even more than the Proenza Schouler PS1.
