Diane von Furstenberg Stephanie Hobo Bag

I'd made my mind up never to write about this hag bag. My dislike for it is so intense, I couldn't see myself writing an objective review. Even when I love or hate a bag, I can always provide factual reasons to back up my feelings. When it comes to the Diane von Furstenberg Stephanie Hobo Bag, it's easy for me to forgo details and just call it ugly, horrid and trashy. See how simple that was for me? The words just poured out through my fingers. Even though I could leave my review at that, it wouldn't be much of a review, right?

Let's begin by zoning in on my main peeve with this bag. Simply put, the DVF Stephanie Hobo is E-N-O-R-M-O-U-S!!! No joke, ladies. It is probably one of the largest, most unflattering bags ever made. Most of my 'Stephanie' sightings were limited to petite women so my opinion of the bag was somewhat one-sided. I needed to see this bag on a tall woman. As it just so happens, I spotted the bag on last night's premier of Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami (yet another crappy show about Miami, I mean, South Beach, but that's another post). My favorite Kardashian, baby sister Khloe, was toting the DVF design, and, as you can see from this pic of Khloe, the bag is just as huge on her as it would be on her shorter sisters. Its large size combined with the metallic leather detailing makes the 'Stephanie' a big 'ole busy mess.

My advice to Khloe is to stick to Balenciaga, particularly her gorgeous green Work Bag, and ditch the DVF hobo for good. If a bag is large enough to fit your radio show co-host, it's best to look for a more suitable and complimentary design. So I'm sticking to my original short review of the Diane von Furstenberg Stephanie Hobo Bag - ugly, horrid and trashy.
