Doesn't spring 2010 look absolutely heavenly thanks to MARC by Marc Jacobs? If only Jacobs' high-end handbags were as appealing as these designs, he'd be golden. Oh, well. At least we have these confections to muse over. Just to think these bags will all be priced well under $1000 puts a smile on my face. MARC's turnlock bags get a new member to the club with the addition of a sleek messenger-style bag. The bowler is updated to look like a white, puffy cloud. It looks good enough to rest your head on or soft enough to snuggle up with. Then we have logo-less, twisted leather designs with the nuts and bead detailing introduced in the resort collection. The large white tote and purple shoulder bag have perforated front panels as well as new hardware on the shoulder straps. The tote is sure to find a home in my closet come March. How nice! Just in time for my 38th birthday. That will make four years in a row I gift myself with a MARC bag on my b-day. What a heavenly spring indeed.
