Oh, c'mon! Is this for real? I can't believe the name of Jimmy Choo is attached to a bag so blatantly insulting. Not that the 'Ramona' design is insulting. I love the 'Ramona'. I don't even mind that it's been done in PVC. It actually makes for an interesting beach bag or something like that. What I find truly insulting is the price. The PVC Ramona Tote retails for $1700. Yikes!!! That much for PVC is totally insulting, and I don't care which designer label is responsible for it. Bluefly.com has the bag available in a bright yellow hue for $1115.99, but that's still too expensive. I'll give them some leeway for the use of patent leather on the handles and trim, but that doesn't justify its original price tag. Not by a long shot. I'd price the PVC Ramona around $700-750 to reflect respect for the brand name, the design and the use of leather. I know that's still quite expensive, but it's no where near as insulting as $1700 is. More of these would be sold if the price was right. Maybe next time they'll think twice before they slap such a ridiculous price tag on a bag like this.
